Our aim is to spread the word about the glory of Traditional English Puddings and to give you the recipes to put them firmly back on the country’s menu. This site is both a resource and a focal point for discussion and sharing of ideas and pleasures of English puddings. Just ask any adult what their favourite English Pudding is and watch the smile appear on their face as they re-live their childhood memories of things like apple pie, treacle sponge and custard, apple crumble, pancakes or raison dumplings to name but a few. Our country is rich in the ingredients that contribute to an enormous range of delicious post dinner treats. We advocate the use of the best local seasonal ingredients in our recipes from local shops or farmers markets where possible. Our initial list of recipes provides more than enough choices for one day for every week of the year, but we want even more, why not help us get to 365? Feel free to join in by suggesting more English Pudding recipes or other things you’d like to see on the site, we have some great plans for the future. We started to gather some celebrity favourites but would like a lot more. If you are a celebrity why not join in by sending us and email or if you know any celeb's why not tell them about the site too. The blog is great place to join in a discussion or ask some questions or express an opinion. We are working on putting together a newsletter with ideas, tips, offers and anything else you’d like to see.
