100g Breadcrumbs

100g Shredded Suet

100g Sultanas

50g Sugar

2 Eggs

Salt & Nutmeg

Milk (if required)

Sultana Dumplings - Serves 4

Quick, simple and delicious, serve with custard or cream or a little warmed golden syrup.

Method

Place a steamer over a saucepan of water and bring to the boil.

Mix the dry ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Beat the eggs and add to the mixed dry ingredients. Combine with a palette knife until it leaves the bowl clean. Add a little milk if required to bring the dough together. Divide the dough into dumplings and place in the steamer. Steam for around 10 minutes.

Serve with custard, single cream or a little warmed golden syrup.
